CAPTAIN

The Captain is required to safely operate Offshore Vessels in inshore waters as well as the Gulf of Mexico. The Captain is responsible for vessel handling in constantly changing conditions while in support of offshore oil and gas activities. The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the vessel as well as the training and evaluation of shipboard personnel. All applicants must possess a current U.S. Coast Guard Masters License of at least 100 tons to navigate in specified waters.

MATE

 The Mate is required to safely operate Offshore Vessels in inshore waters and also in the Gulf of Mexico. The Mate is responsible for the direct supervision of the vessel crew, safety, deck activities and command of the vessel as directed by the Captain. All applicants must possess a current U.S. Coast Guard Mate's License of at least 100 tons.

 ENGINEER

 The Engineer plans, supervises and completes routine and emergency maintenance and repairs of equipment and machinery at the dock and underway. The Engineer is responsible for the safe and efficient loading, transfer and discharge of bulk cargo, fuel and water. All applicants must possess a current U.S. Coast Guard Engineer's License

 UNLICENSED ENGINEER

 The Unlicensed Engineer will help supervise and complete routine and emergency maintenance and repairs of equipment and machinery at the dock and underway. The Unlicensed Engineer will help in the safe and efficient loading, transfer and discharge of bulk cargo, fuel and water. The Unlicensed Engineer will also be required to assist with some deckhand duties.

 OILER

The Oiler will identify maintenance and repair items, maintain engineering supplies and spares. Load and discharge bulk liquids safely and efficiently without spills. Load and discharge dry bulk safely and efficiently. Test, monitor and troubleshoot equipment to make sure all systems are opperating properly

 Deckhand

 The Deckhand will perform a variety of duties to preserve painted surfaces of the vessel, maintain lines, running gear, and cargo handling in a safe operating condition. The Deckhand will also handle lines to moor vessel, clean decks, chip, clean and paint rust spots, lubricate machinery and equipment, splice and repair cables and rope, load and unload cargo, equipment, and supplies, and will also assist with engine room duties.

 COOK

 The Cook will provide three meals a day taking advantage of seasonal foods and produce and in such quanity for the amount of personnel on board. The Cook will also bake breads and pastries, order foods and supplies for the galley, keep galley and quarters clean and sanitary and direct other personnel working in galley.
